Dont believe the Smith rumour for a minute. If he was being touted about it wouldnt be exclusively to Hudders so other sources would have picked up on it.

funny how Cellino took the credit for wooton ( i think it was) when he told McDermott he was playing him in the wrong possition yea he never interferes

 

Hate to say it but I think Mighty is right: if Cellino purchases a player, he will insist on that player playing, regardless of what the coach wants. He may not pick the entire team or choose the specific tactics, but if he wants changes made to accommodate his signings, it will happen or the coach will be sacked.

 

It was Murphy mate who went on to score two goals in that game but the point is well made.

Morning all - Stop letting the Millwall guys wind you up, we don't know how Cellino and a coach will work together. The interviews will take place, they will discuss how it is going to work the coach will ask for some assurances and he will be judged on results.

I personally believe the coach will tell Cellino where the squad needs strengthening and Cellino will do the buying and selling. He won't pick the team, he probably won't attend half the matches or any of the training sessions so how could he possibly pick a team.

Hearing the rumours of what some of our players are being paid thanks to Warnock and McD I don't mind in the slightest if the decision on value and wages is taken away from the manager/coach each one that comes and goes leaves us with more deadwood who nobody else can afford.

If Cellino buys and spends wisely I don't see what the problem is.
