Good Morning Everyone,

McDermott has been widely tipped to take the vacant Baggies job.

It looks like a two horse race between him and Malkay Mackay.

If I was in McDermotts shoes, I'd jump at the chance.

Things just have not worked out for him at Elland Road, and a new start may be just what he needs.

It reminds me a little of Bates and Grayson. I got the impression that Grayson was unable to stand his ground with our former Chairman, and was therefor unable to run the team that he wanted to run, the way he wanted to run it!!!

Yeah, yeah, we all know the McDermott is a super nice bloke, seriously though how far does 'nice' get you??? If McDermott stays, Cellino might as well be playing Fifa on the playstation, using Leeds Utd

Morning all <ok> Brian get the fook out while you can and get a settled salary coming in, because you are bound to fail and be sacked here. Your ideas, tactics and methods have failed you badly and you have been the worst manager (On paper) that this club has ever had. Yes a lot of that is to do with working for 2 of the worst owners this club has ever had, but you took our club into 5th and then did nothing about the worst form ever. I don't believe the baggies are in fact brave enough to offer you a job in the prem ....

Morning all. Could be wrong, but I can't see BMD going anywhere near the Albion job. Given time, he will do a decent job for us. Leet's just see where we are around November December time once he's had money to spend in the TW & we see how the squad has come back from a decent rest. No financial worries. A better squad. A lot of cr&p out. What's not to like?

Good moro from a sunny but chilly Bardsey Would you trust Brian to spend your money I certainly wouldn,t no if by luck he was offered the West Brom job he should jump at it and let us move on having no compensation to pay!
I would also sell Ross to Malaga and replace him with Gary Hooper I never thought this could be done but well its possible we will get much more for Ross than we pay for Hooper that's what I call good business

60, Hooper scored shed loads for Celtic in a nothing league. Look at what he's done in the PL & ask yourself whether or not he really i so much better than Ross. I understand what you're saying. But I think we'd be better off holding on to Ross.

Morning all. Mc Dermott has done nothing during his stay here to suggest he's worth keeping. A year of non achievement and some want him kept based on what I dont know. As for Hooper, I watch Celtic a lot and he acquitted himself very well at Champions League level. To be honest, we can't afford his fee or salary and I seriously doubt if he'd be interested in taking a major step backwards to play in a very poor championship. Hell easily gat a move to some of the newly promoted or lower pl teams.

POLICE are investigating claims a group of Leeds United fans sang anti-semitic songs on a train back from a game.

British Transport Police say complaints were made following United’s 3-1 win at Birmingham City on April 26.

Investigating officer PC Gareth Swiffen said: “Upon arrival at Leeds a number of passengers on the service made complaints to rail staff with regards to some of the fans engaging in anti-social behaviour on the train and chanting anti-Semitic songs.

“As you can understand, this was an intimidating and upsetting experience for people on board the train who were extremely offended by some of the fans’ actions.

Afternoon All,

Anyone any idea what the anti-semitic songs were? Can't say I've noticed them before, but perhaps it's the accents you english gentiles have. <whistle>

All a bit strange Jock. I can understand some fans singing iffy songs about certain historical plane crashes involving making a lot of noise in the snow. But I can't recall us having issues with Spurs or Brum Jewery... or any other Jewery to be honest. Maybe a cae of mistaken identity.

On a similar note, Ive been getting fierce slagging from mates about our fans singing pro Saville songs at the Wednesday game last season. Did we or do we sing songs condoning that bastard. If we did, Ill stay shtum bit otherwise need some ammo to fire back at these guys

The Saville situation is interesting. Given how many cases of living celebs have actually failed or shown to be not guilty, it's a real shame he isn't round to defend himself.... or be banged to rights & spend the rest of his natural behind bars.

Historically Leeds United are just as much a Jewish club as Spurs, so I guess it's the same as Tottenham singing the Yid song.
A bit like rappers being allowed to use the 'n' word, whereas if a Caucasian used it he'd be accused of racism.

Seeing as how the club was owned by jews before the time of Don Revie and right up to Bates, you know there's a massive jewish connection we were the original yid army. Manny Cousins anyone,
