Morning Peeps, Jack Butland is a Leeds player until the end of the season!!! The highly rated 20yo cost Stoke just over 3m a year ago, but has been unable to keep down a first team place, due to the experience of Begovic and Sorensen. He has also been out on loan at Barnsley earlier in the season, and was instrumental in keeping a clean sheet against us at Oakwell. Personally, I am over the moon. If this signing, albeit loan is a taste of things to come, I cannot wait for Cellino to take over. McDermott has revealed he has told his team to go out and 'attack' Boro on Saturday. The way the gaffer sees it, he would rather gamble and lose, rather then play out a draw which would do our hopes of the play offs no good at all... Agree?
One point is no good to us the bottom four are so hopeless we are already safe so we might as well treat every game as a home game and set out to attack from the kick off. We won't of course, but we should.

Morning all. Butland looks a real find. Hope this loan is a loan with an option to buy. If so, Kenny can leave at the end of the season & either Cairns will step up as official No. 2, or we'll look to bring in an understudy.

Boggers having watched Cairns at youth level and seen him go out on loan to Stalybridge and not get played I think we can safely say he will never make it as a Leeds United player (or maybe not at any level)

On tomorrow's game, if the Manager is telling the team to attack, all we need is for Kebe and Stewart to extract a digit & we could get a hatful. Alternatively, 'Boro will park a bus and scrape a 1-0 with a breakaway goal in the final minute.
Always thought Kenny was a decent keeper at this level, but got the impression he was maybe just taking his money on a jolly with warnock. I've never met him. However, I do know he takes an interest with the academy keepers, and is helpful and encouraging to them, which is maybe more a measure of the guy than his public perception.
Maybe Milky that's his next step. Go into coaching. He is/was a decent keeper. It's just that we're moving forward as a club, and even his medium term future is unlikely to be with us. So best he hangs up his gloves, or accepts that if we sign Butland from next season, he'll be back up, and as such, his time would be better spent getting his badges and helping develop our next generation of keepers.
Morning all. Huge games coming up for McDs future you'd feel. Won something like one game in last two months and that was against bottom team. Poor form by any standards. Needs to string together a few wins to convince new incoming boss he's the man for the job. If he doesn't, there will be no point in blaming Cellino for showing him the door
