    Good Morning Peeps,

We have a spy in our midst.....

His name is Gianluca Festa, the former Middlesbrough defender. I'm pretty sure before long, we'll be calling him uncle!!!!

He has been planted by Massimo Cellino.

The 57-year-old Italian asked for Festa to be given a seat on the bench during our 1-1 draw with the Tractor Boys.

(Uncle) also made an appearance at Thorp Arch on Tuesday to watch the players train.

Cellino was expected to watch the 1-1 draw from one of the executive boxes, but got called away on business just before kick.

According to the YEP, Cellino wants Uncle to be our next Manager.

McDermott showed his frustrations, at goings on off the field after the game. “This has been one of the most difficult periods I’ve had as a manager, especially the last few days. “Some of the stuff that’s gone on has not been pleasant and it doesn’t belong in football in my opinion.”

The transfer window closes its door for the final time this season tomorrow night at the stroke of midnight. We have men (and women) strategically placed outside Elland Road, Thorp Arch, Leeds Airport, Bella Pasta and McDonalds. Think we have all angles covered....

Morning all. Not looking good at all, but only positive I can find is as follows. We've tried the British manager idea for donkey's years with little or no financial support and mainly British players and where are we now? Dire and little better than a league one club. How much ****ing worse can it get under Cellini. One difference with him, for the first time he will be spending his own cash so will naturally demand a return, ie promotion and I would imagine leave no stone unturned in the effort. Mighty has been posting pictures of his present run down stadium in Italy. So what, if he spends nothing on Elland Road. It'll do for the moment. He also knows infinitely more about running a football club than our present chancres.
A lot of our **** players will be shown the door but so what. I do feel sorry for McD and his treatment though.

And there it is ... we need Haigh's consortium to buy the club and bring stability, leave McD in charge ... imagine how life will be with Uncle trying to be a manager ... GFH are trying to sell but something doesn't add up, let's hope they sort this out ... Cellino will do damage it seems, and if he is that stupid to want to put Uncle Festa in charge "because he played for Boro" then we are in for a shock if he does buy the club ... morning all

God save us if Festa does become manager/coach he's currently in charge of an Italian 3rd tier team. If true I can see us having a 'Director of Football'. McD don't deserve the sacked, he's been good for us these last few months. Yes I know some of the signings have been dodgy.

    Morning all <ok>

Cellinos ground in Italy is a dump because he is being refused planning permission to do it up. Hes also kept a tiny club in there top flight for something like 20 years. Dont let mighty blinker you, he maybe human marmite but a lot of fans think of him highly. Looking on the brightside if he comes in, he will throw money at it and wont settle for anything but success. He wont be a book burner using this club as a cash cow either, so say what you like about his maverick ways but you cant have it both ways, you want us to spend then we need someone who can do just that. I know we deserve a happy meduim but local billionaires who have a life long affiliation with the club havent been knocking Elland Roads door off have they.

I feel for Brian, but after 10 years of dross I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say Cellino in.

Big mistake IMO if we let this twat anywhere near our great club. Maccer should tell the board either sack him or back him, he shouldn't walk because I'd presume he wouldn't get a pay off.

I said from day one GFH are no good for this club, they are not transparent and they are a DISGRACE

You can't even begin to imagine what would be going through the players minds, so to ensure a possible sale GFH agreed to allowing Festa on the bench? I think it is time for Brian to go but no manager deserves to be treated like that.

If the sale falls through where does that leave the manager and players, are GFH any better than Bates?

Bates had ten years to do his damage, where would we be in 10 years time with GFH at the helm.

    Cellino
    Haigh
    Bates
    GFH

I have to agree I would pick Cellino, he is dubious, the others are proven garbage.

In an ideal world you're correct Shaks and good morning. Problem as it stands, GFH have now shown their true colours. Never had any inters in Leeds except as a means to make a quick buck with minimum investment. Tons of spin and bullshit. They now need out and quickly and don't care who is upset after they leave. We were warned often enough before they bought in but many welcomed them simply because they appeared better than the devil himself Bates.
Take a look at Haighs picture and see who he reminds you of Shaks

Morning Norway. Just thinking, with Cellino, it would be entertaining, never a dull moment, though Haigh / Flowers, a very safe option but will never set the world alight....

Richard Branson....... All I'm saying is this is like Groundhog day, how many managers have come in welcomed by most fans and then after a bad patch it's get him out. It's bad enough with the off field politics, but we'll never have a stable team with all these changes. Bringing in Festa will make no differerence, he'll be gone the same way. I'd love to hear the view of supporters who aren't on 606, the fans who are on the streets of Leeds and see how they feel about some dodgy eytie taking over....<wah>

I should bookmark all these comments and wheel them out after he's sacked 5 or 6 managers and we're languishing in L1........not invested in new players, we'll end up like Watford with 9 Itallians on the team.......**** me, what a load of bollox...<grr>
