Good Morning Everyone, Steve Evans is waiting for Alex Neil to phone him back about Kyle Lafferty - and another player in the Norwich ranks. We're being told that Lafferty is a done deal, got no idea who the other player is though? Ex Leeds midfielder Simon Lenighan has trained at Rotherham this week. Owls v Leeds had already been moved to 12.30pm on Jan 16 for police advice - now on Sky. LEEDS will take their strongest available squad to Wycombe Wanderers tonight. Chris Wood, Stuart Dallas and Lewis Cook away with New Zealand, Northern Ireland and England Under-19s respectively. Young goalkeeper Charlie Horton is also on duty with the USA under-23s but every other first team player will travel to Wycombe, including winger Jordan Botaka, left-back Charlie Taylor and centre-back Liam Cooper. Botaka had been selected to represent DR Congo in Burundi but opted instead to stay at Thorp Arch while Taylor will edge closer to his recovery from a virus by travelling with the squad, taking part in the warm-up, but not playing. Cooper, who was substituted after a clash of heads with Scott Wootton during Saturday’s win at Huddersfield Town, will also travel but not play. The game could be particularly important for the likes of Lee Erwin and Casper Sloth to impress Evans who is optimistic of having star Taylor back before the end of November. I will attempt to find audio and streaming links
Morning all. Mr Steve, its an opportunity to get the defence to continue to improve. Giving Taylor some game time will help. Basically its better than a training session. It will also give squad players the chance to impress.
A friendly during the season ffs!! Only Leeds could do that! Shall we loan them Fred again for the match to give you a lesson?!
What would you prefer, a training session or a competitive match against opposition that want to beat a big team
Wycombe arranged it after being disappointed that they wont be playing anyone decent in the next round of the cup. Not sure who they drew because it's irrelevent as proper clubs don't join in until after Christmas.
Good morning to Matt and co from a very wet Bardsey Lafferty a done deal I hope so. Bridcutt seems to be a stale mate and the new goalkeeper is shelved for now be Redfearns last Taylor not now until end of month Will the Leeds game be Redfearns last things not looking good for him another defeat and he could be out for good
Who are you playing in the next qualification round of the FA cup. You know the round before the proper competition proper starts?
