It was nothing that even the hard core amongst us could get excited about. In fact Leeds were booed from the pitch at the end of the first half – a period Evans described as “being at the dentist” Leeds need a goal scorer. Apart from Doukara's strike on the hour mark, there was very little to get our pulses racing. Wood came on early in the second half, and even though he gets in to good positions, he will never bang in 23 - 24 goals a season for us. Best way to describe him is that he makes a nuisance of himself to the oppositions defence. Diagouraga (nickname is Dave) will sign on the dotted line, and will be available for selection against the club he has just departed. Reported fee 1.5m Leeds make the long trip down to Brentford tomorrow, which will be a much more difficult affair. Leeds away form this season has generally been good. I would have thought we would get something from the game.
Morning all.. Apparently Toums and Bridcutt were the two players Evans wanted from day one. Positives... Coach picked out two realistic targets who were affordable, more of a positive the coach picked them to suit his vision and Cellino backed him.. If we fail now Evans has no excuses, personally I'm sitting on the fence, I can't understand why we are not addressing the lack of goal scoring opportunities but I can see what Evans is trying to do.

Its all coming together. What we need is a decent striker. That said, we may have to wait for the main TW in July. But who knows? Let's hope Dave scores, shows himself to be an honourable man by not celebrating in front of fans who recently voted him one of their favourite players, & then helping develop our youthful midfield & move us up the league as far as we can get this season
