The boy is back in toon...

Been almost a year since I last posted as I've been working a new job 6 days a week and running my own football club which has been hectic to say the least but its settling back down (got the hang of it now) so thought I will have some spare time to start posting again.

Few bits I want to catch up on:

The headline is a dual headline as I haven't seen anyone post about it yet...

JONAS: is back scoring goals for the U21's after beating cancer and looks like he may well be playing games in the next month or so. Fantastic news! Hopefully Colo cheers up (although playing next to Willo for the forseeable future maybe not) and we could do with some experienced players in and about the place as we only have FOUR (Colo, Willo, Raylor and Jonas) over 30's to help mentor the younger lads progress...

Ashley & Rangers: Not sure what he is doing with Rangers. I think he will sell us very quickly without anyone knowing what is happening before hand and soon. If not there is some sort of loop hole hes exploiting to own both Rangers and us at the same time e.g. buying Rangers through SD or something similar.

Manager: Remi Garde seems to be the best option to me, can work to a tight budget, done well developing talent at Lyon, knows the league and language and being French will help with our current brood of Frenchies. Not sad to see Pardew go but a little confused, surely must have something to do with Ashley's stance on Rangers currently IMO but we will never know and like I say not gonna cry about a manager with ~35% win rate leaving.

Defenders: We need more... Saylor out for the season, Williamson needs selling soon, Colo is getting on but would be a handy squad player, Dummett to inexperienced, MYM looking like he is off but not back before the end of the season anyway. Satka, Streete, Good all have potential but that's it ATM need 1/2 to replace Willo and MYM.

Will be trying to keep up with all things NUFC and posting reasonably regularly. Hope everyone's good HTL

Were you not a fellow non hater of Pards with me, Jim, Less Hope etc? Me and Less Hope were maybe under different names then. What have you missed? The main things are the Spy game where I fooled almost everybody (except GCB but no one believed that wet sod anyway), and also the Prediction game of doom which you must get involved with ASAP. There is the fantasy game too but no one cares about it except for Heed. We are letting him win as we feel sorry for ******s.

Otherwise much of muchness and all the better for having you back. unless you were a Pardew hater. In which case - who are you?

Ahh JPF why the change of name? I still have a soft spot for Dan Gosling, just never thought he got a fair crack of the whip, would he be better than Anita though?

Never hated Pardew but his win percentage, record for 2014 as a whole and some of the press (headbutting players, pushing refs, swearing at old men) he attracted was all bad news. He was never going to win the fans round so best he left.

Yeah Pardew should have left in the summer, 3 full seasons, fans never took to him, never gonna work out. I had no problem with on the field stuff and have sympathy as his overall record against a backdrop of no investment is pretty solid. The behaviour problems were obviously not good. I'd love to describe him a a character...

Dan the man, still beating that drum eh? Not good enough for me and Colback is better. Anita might as well go as we don't fancy him at all. I actually think he could do better than Tiote alongside Colback. Abeid is the preferred partner for me, I think they dovetail really well and in that run against the likes of Man C, Liverpool and West Brom etc, they controlled every game. Tiote for me is not something we really need when we are at full strength. We need feeders for Obertan and Aarons. We have barely been at full strength all bloody season!

 

I don't believe there is better sight than seeing a girls mouths like that, it is pretty hypnotic.

Yeh. I've missed the intellectual stimulation. The prediction league and cups are ok but it's just guesswork after all. And I believe I have the most wins as well! What we now need is a Predict the Headline game for 2015.
