Sherwood gone from Villa then Don't think it will save them though. Norwich and Bouremouth give too much away.
2 of the bottom 3 have changed manager now and with Bournmouth letting in another hatfull today they will soon be keeping Villa company in the bottom 3.
Just a point: In ten games Watford have conceeded 10 goals. In Bournemouth's last two games they have conceeded 10 goals.
I cannot remember another game when a keeper was responsible for his side giving away four goals. The Bournemouth keeper did this afternoon, but their whole defence looks very shaky.
And it's us that have been described as a 'breath of fresh air' and not little old Bournemouth. Sweet.
So glad to see th e lovein of the press and Bournemouth finally fading as the "experts" see for themselves what we all knew. Bournemouth have as much depth as we did last time we were in the prem and I'm predicting are headed for a similar position. Bye bye Eddie....clueless Howe the hell did you make it to the prem...
I just hope this does not come back to haunt us. Although, in an ideal world, I would like to see Norwich stay up, I don't much care who is in the bottom three as long as it's not us.
Hope it's Bournemouth, that giant club Newcastle and oh please Chelsea, think I'll get Newcastle and the cherries but probably joined by Villa, hope we can keep/improve our form...
God, all this anti-Bournemouth verbals is pretty pathetic-how the supporters of the 'big' clubs must laugh. This seems to stem from decisions made on the pitch when the two clubs have met. You ranters have never seen a decision given in Watfords favour that was wrong ? Course you have , but to admit to it is another thing. We should be connected to the Bournemouths,Norwichs-the rivalry to make the Premiership was LAST season. This vague article that stirred this up again seems to be inspired by ,yes a good ,win yesterday but stiffer tasks ahead and current position in the table doesnt even have to be that significant so early in the season . No doubt many wont like this-but then many are also too blinkered in favour of their club ! Support the 'Lesser Lights' !!
I have a feeling that many of the fans from the 'big' clubs hardly know we exist as they live on a different cloud. I also think that some of the desire to see Norwich and Bournemouth fail is due to some Canaries believing that because they had PL players they would find it simple to reintegrate, and the Cherries thing came about by the media attention because they had done well to get promotion despite being a very small club in every way. Already I read that Norwich and Bournemouth fans are saying that they bought poor players in the summer, or that their boards would not sanction expenditure on decent players. I have always had a soft spot for underdogs, and love to see them do well. (An English trait?) Yes we have sterner tests ahead and I fully expect us to join those that struggle to survive later in the season, or at least have doubts, but there is a difference. Watford benefit from the Pozzo scouting system which spreads it's net far and wide. While we have that behind us we can expect weaknesses to be plugged and we do have a decent chance of still being in the PL next season. We also have the benefit of a head coach who has worked at the top level, whereas the two clubs above have people in charge who have not and are still learning. There are certain clubs who have fans far worse than ours. Ones who supported their teams when they were doing well at the top level ten years or more ago, and yet they still believe they have a divine right to be at the top of the tree, rather than struggling to stay in their current division. Support the 'Lesser Lights' against the teams with all the money. Certainly. Laugh at certain managers who get themselves into trouble. Certainly. Support Watford when they play away at an established PL side, and win. Certainly.
So Watford people should be grateful for the advantages the club has, rather than turn on Bournemouth endlessly.Course wins like yesterday should be celebrated, but bet your life this article wouldnt have been written after last weekends match.
You don't understand the motivation, it's nothing to do with big clubs little clubs. For me I can't stand the way Bournemouth were hyped and I can't stick Eddie Howe pumped up little prick that he is who had already failed in the big league but the press forgot that. I'm not at all blinkered but look at what we have behind us. I think its the old Nicks of this world who need to wind their necks in and not tell us we have to support rival clubs who some of us may dislike for personal and family reasons in addition to what I wrote above. As for supporters of "big" clubs laughing I think you're stretching it as they couldn't give a damn...
