It is time! Cardiff's first season in the top tier of English football for over half a century begins a week today and with some of the biggest teams in the world to arrive at the CCS, this season has more of an continued FA Cup tie feeling to it. Expect some rocking atmosphere at the stadium this season especially if things are going to plan! And finally our first relegation battle in nearly a decade, a couple of things you should note - 1) A decrease in the number of games 2) We are not going to win all of them! So, where do we start? A good spoonful of deja vu about our opening weekend trip to Upton Park as surely you can remember Kenny Miller's added time winner in Mackay's first game in charge two years ago - a repeat performance would be more than welcome. However, the Spammers have come a good way since that fateful televised game. A successful return to the Premier League, including a 5 nil aggregate win over us in the playoffs, and a easily secured mid table position under Big Sam - this isn't going to be any easier than it was last time. And so many questions to be answered in the BPPL, in what could be a incredibly tight season! A reminder of the rules. Scoreline CS = 3 pts CR = 1 pts Cardiff Scorers You get a point for every correct scorers you predict to a maximum of 3. You get an extra point if you predict an exact situation, both scorers and scoreline. So you can now claim a max of 7 points by guessing a 3 -0 scoreline and all Cardiff scorers right. You can predict the same scorer twice. If you get a 0-0 right you get four points. Example West Ham 1 -2 Cardiff Bellamy, Whittingham Good Luck
2 - 1 to the Spammers, Campbell to score for us. Thanks Sheep Proph would be delighted to see his name attributed to this.
Nice touch about the Proph sheep. I'm sure he's predicting from up above. I'm starting off with a 0-0 please.
Straight in with a positive note for me. Malky will go up there to get a draw, but come back with a win. Can't see them not scoring against our "new defence" , but I think we can outgun them on the day (honestly! ) West Ham 2-3 Cardiff City for me with Whitts, Campbell and Turner getting the goals.
