Far too much optimism for City... should have seen that coming Now for the real test. Despite being promoted from League 1 last season Preston are tearing it up and that point at Deepdale, viewed as two points lost at the time, is rapidly increasing in value. One defeat and two draws in their last 10 games leave them only a single point behind City, a run that includes wins against Hull and Sheffield Wednesday, and currently they probably stand more chance of getting into the Playoffs, espicially if they leave the CCS with the full three points. Another must win game for Russell's team?

Not going to let this assessment get me down. it's onwards and upwards for me. A win is a must and it's time these upstarts got their comeuppance. So FFB has decided to go for a 2 nil win, with Pilkington scoring one of them.

Another tough one. It's no wonder the bookies always win!

Perhaps I am letting my optimism cloud my judgement but I am going for a City win

Nah, you'll be alright on this one BT - we'll win this comfortably. Preston are no great shakes like Boro. Apart from their Sheff Wed game when they were playing against 10 men for a lot of the game, their recent good points haul has come against struggling sides.

City to give another "Brighton" type performance and stick a few chances away tomorrow. Not sure whether it'll be 3 or 4 but I can see that sort of tally again.

I'll go for another 4 -1 result with Lawrence getting off the mark with a goal.
