I don't want to talk about the football (apart from to say that the Leeds scum have a good chance of breaking their poor run against them) sooooooo with 5 games to go -

• The Title battle is far from other, but the odds are in Bfb's favor to become the first person to defend the title. He has a 2 point lead (plus bonus point) over GLAM so a CS is needed to level the race but GLAM currently has more CS's which could be crucial is both are tied after 46 games.
• The race for the final Top Four is well and truly on also. Despite poor seasons for both Irish and Masky a late surge has brought them above promoted upstarts Blueturk and Welshman. All are locked on 27 points, two points off the coveted final spot, held by myself
• Its taken four years but we finally have a relegation battle! Exile has managed to extract himself from the mess and open up a gap but 2012/13 Runner Up Remote only has a slim lead on isawroonymoorescore (relegation escapee supreme) and Steveoldinho (doesn't want to go back to 2nd tier!) Eldon, whilst not mathematically relegated yet is all but gone.
• The 2nd Tier automatic spots may have been wrapped up long ago but the scramble for the playoffs is providing enough excitement. Musty and Danablu are favorites to secure their spots before Bluescull, Oldsparkey, Blue in Belfast, Frankfurter and Hampshire all come locked together. Looks like the bonus point for a full house and a high count of CS's will decide this!

 

Looking ahead to next season - if Whiffletree and Ninian Opinion carry their form into the top tier, it could be very exciting. Might even enter myself. It has been quite interesting as an observer throughout the year.

 

well ere goes for a **** or bust 1 3 to us with Mr Whittingham getting on the score sheet. Unfortunately, this may prolong the reign of Mr Slade but so be it. I can't predict a loss. it's not in me. it is also now a big bid for a play off place with a CS or simply mid-table mediocrity. No half measures!!!!!
