The setback against Leeds means that our home fixture on Saturday gets even bigger. Somehow Bolton managed to find a 97th min penalty to deny Ipswich two crucial points to aid us, and you feel this might be one of the many make or break moments in City's late season charge for the Playoffs. A victory over Super Mick would mean a lot. And with ten games left, we're now approaching the business end of the season - In the wake of Bfb's title extinction, a title race has sprung up. All of Hampshire, Whiffle, Masky and Sayer have held 1st position, the latter two by large leads. It is currently advantage Sayer, who has managed to keep a three point lead despite a rejuvenated Masky charge. Unless Whiffle or Hampshire can muster a big haul on the final leg, it looks like one of Masky or Sayer will be our Champion. 44 points has been the winning score the last two seasons. A successful mid season surge has seen Bfb recover from a relegation threatened start to the season. Can he usurp Irish to qualify for next season's Capaldi Cup, and salvage something from the remains of this season? The unpredictability of City's results this season have led to an almighty relegation scrap. All of Remote, Jonah, Blueturk and Ronny are locked on 21 points whilst luckless Ninian is 3 points back. Expect this to go down to final day. Remote managed to survive with 27 points last season. Div II update tomorrow!
I really hope we win this one but I fancy it will end in a draw. 1-1 please. Whitts. Also as I'll be away for the next game can you put me down for another 1-1 against Reading with Immers on the score sheet. Cheers Sheepy.
Tough little nuts these Ipswich teams... but it has to be a win and it's a long way for them to travel. 2 nil win again, I am afraid to say even after the last prediction went the other way. Herr Immers to score.
Play like we have been the last few games & a crowd onside like Tuesday & we'll be OK. Yep...we'll nick a 2-1 win with Sexy Lexy to score. Thank you sheep-dude.
Ipswich always a bit of a bogy team for us, but something is stirring down the CCS and so I shall go for a win for the Bluebirds City 1 Ipswich 0 - Immers to score
Draw looks a sensible bet but I'll have to follow my new found optimism and go for a City win. No idea of the scoreline and I know we're up against a good Ipswich side and not a poor Leeds, but if we play anything like Tuesday, a few must go in today. I'll go for a 3-1 to City with Pilks getting on the scoresheet.
