Seems like an age ago that Cardiff kicked off the season at Ewood Park in the reverse of this fixture which resulted in a draw that was deemed a good start to the campaign. The landscape has changed drastically since then and so too have the problems facing City. Of the team that started that day only Marshy, Conolly, Whitts, Gunner and Jones are likely to feature this coming Tuesday. Ole is long gone and if the poor results and performances continue you feel (hope) that Slade's days are numbered to. In the opposition ranks Gestede and Conway, two assets that Cardiff rather foolishly let go, will be a large threat. This looks like a tough game for City. In the Prediction League, points were sparse last Tuesday but Sparky, Welshman and Hampshire were cunning enough to foresee the draw.
Bluebirds 1 - 3 Blackburn. KWJ to score. First time this season I've backed us to lose. Head ruling heart this time. What odds on a Gestede hat trick? Thanks Mr. Sheep.
Mr Sheep, Could I predict the next 3 games here as I won't have remote access next week? Thanks. City 1 Blackburn 1. Jones Wigan 0 City 1. Morrison City 0 Wolves 1. Doyle
1-3 I'm afraid, with Gunnar netting. If right, I only hope that it leads to a new manager. By the way, Seep, I'm very impressed with your 14 correct results. You'd be making a few quid down the bookies with your record, I'd say.
Haha cheers GLAM. I do make a few quid on the bookies but I'm not a massive gambling man so I only bet £1 per bet so my winnings aren't massive!
Start of a run of wins beckons methinks 2-1 home win with a Whitts rocket (pen) Ok nurse ....where's my bedtime drink ?
Really not sure where to go with this. Head says Blackburn - could be a heavy defeat if their attacking force have their confident heads on. Hope they are still full of celebratory goodies after their great win v. Stoke. Hic!!!! My heart says City but I cannot see where the improvement needed will come from unless Trollope has been allowed to exert an early influence. How we control Rudy will be the key to this. From memory I think we more or less subdued him at their place where we had Hudson and Connolly at cb - who knew how to play him. I don't have the same confidence in Morrison and Manga. Also Josh King was a sub and took no part and Rhodes was injured. I hate to say it but 2 - 1 to Blackburn with Doyle getting his first for us. Hope I'm wrong but if so, Slade getting his P.45 in the morning would be the only positive outcome. Sheep, you were reading my mind!!! If I hadn't typed so much gibberish i would have got in first!!! Lol!!!
Can't see us winning and a draw is the best (and worst) we could hope for. The best is it would give us a point - the worst would be it could delay Slade's axing. Don't like doing it but it's a 0-2 result for me and Slade gone by the weekend as a bonus.
