Bit sloppy at the end. Just like City, they don't do clean sheets.

I like the Germans - they do the basics right - every time.
They play like England could and should - but never do.

England will never have the national pride that nearly all of the other teams at the World Cup proved, and their performance was a disgrace. What happens to our players that makes them look like uninterested fools when they don the shirt of their country, or don't they have any self respect?

This much heralded Centre of Excellence will never achieve what is intended to do because national pride disappeared from the English mentality many years ago, never to reappear. A sad state of affairs and I might suggest they abandon any international aspirations and just sit back and watch the teams that actually travelled to Brazil with intent, like Germany (again).

Now here's a conundrum because I don't know who to support in the final especially when you consider we have actually beaten one of them at their national sport twice already (that's a famous quote by an English commentator prior to the 1966 final - do you know who?).

Argentina might get my support, but then again who knows, because I lost all interest when England qualified which doesn't necessarily make me feel any better.
