    The Biggest Unveiling of All...

...will be the Markus Liebherr Memorial Flag. The club have confirmed that it can be used, and is ready to be used this Saturday.

So if you haven't had a chance to get some tickets yet, what better reason can there be? 2 new kits, 2 top teams, and a great tribute to our late great owner.

FWIW I hope we see it against Leeds too, but time will tell.

The size is 20m X 15m and Cortese and SFC agreed to pay £2k added to the £4k raised by the fans for the flag. (Costing a grand total of.... £6k)

They sell the seat for a set block. If every available seat in every block is sold, then the Itchen is sold out.

I was told when booking that you buy tickets for a certain stand, but you are allowed to sit where you want in that stand. Asked for the Itchen but she said there wasn't anything available.

If the Itchen holds x fans, then it's full as soon as they've sold x tickets. You can sit where you like (i.e. unallocated) but they can't sell more than capacity. I don't think they mean you can move anywhere in the stadium. If they only sell the Itchen and Kingland for example, they only have to staff those areas.

    Should add my guess only.

Because, let's just say for example there are 750 seats in a block, if you sell 750 tickets for one block, then that block is sold out, and on and on as blocks fill up.

Just because your ticket doesn't have a set seat number doesn't mean every seat cannot be sold out.

So whats the point in this flag if they don't get it out at every home game?

Fair play to the lads who organised this.

However, just can't work out how on earth it has cost £6000

I would guess because it's a speciality flag which you cannot get at Tesco, it's rather large (15m by 20m) and there is a design on it.
