Throughout the whole tournament we never sent a team out to "win a game" every time we sent a side out " not to lose " some may say what is the difference, but because of the way this tournament panned out in terms of Cappelo being replaced we had a free tournament, nothing to loose and everything to gain we could have tried anything and nobody would have mind. But we sent out 11 players with one mission " don't loose" and we will see what happens after that. We have learnt very little in terms of what the young lads could do and missed s great opportunity , so now Roy has a world cup qualification to try and find a winning formula and has wasted a " free tournament " to learn and change things. I thought Roy was a poor appointment when it was made because I see him as purely a yes man for the arrogant FA and nothing in the last couple of weeks has made me think otherwise.

I didn't see the game mate so can't really comment. However, We have left this tournament undefeated in open play which must count for something..

Not a time to experiment with kids. WC qual games loom and he can relook at selection and tactics then. Agree we played into italian hands a little but god-awful passing and a lack of a second midfield creator alongside Gerrard weakened us. Big squad clubs contribute by not giving English players game time on a regular basis.

Solution would be to send all the African, Dutch and French players back home. Not likely to happen.
