Realistically I see us just picking up 3 more pts home to Stoke, so 37 pts total - at the end of the day our GD might just prove to be the extra point that keeps us up.

Why does everybody think that 3pts agianst Stoke is a given? The way weve been playing recently I wouldn't be surprised if we played better agianst the bigger teams than against a resoulte Stoke. Personally im hoping for a Barca hangover from Chelsea this weekend, and maybe nick 3 points at the bridge. Tough ask but most certianly possible given the amount of chasing we can expect them to be doing at the Nou camp. Anyone else hoping for Extra time in that one?
Personally I think you will go to Citeh needing something - or at least not having enough to sit back and let them have the points.The implication of this is possibly the equal most important game of the season along with next Monday's derby. Very true. We have such varied opinion on here with people from only a few weeks ago screaming were down, sack Hughes to he's a saviour were safe that I was trying to get people to see how fragile the situation is. It actually only took a couple of minutes to do but it's frighteningly close when you take the time to give a realistic expectation of results. There have been plenty of upsets to date and it only takes a couple more to completely upset the apple cart!
We may even need to win all three. With our form beating top teams at home, Wigan doing it away, and Bolton's very variable form and games in hand, plus Blackburn and Villa in the throw, for me it' s about impossible to predict. Still think we should be OK with 40 points, but not 37!
