The squad depth was worse under Hodgson, but results wise, it's no different this year from Hodgson.

Hodgson did have a Gerrard & Carra in their prime though

Ok then. What if the two sides were to play each other. Who would win?
Ignoring the fact it may be one of the most boring matches of all time.

We have decent players, just need a decent manager to piece them together and someone to inspire our players

Hodgson had Torres and a good Gerrard and Carra. I think they would have beaten the sh!t Rodgers is serving up.

0-0 draw. Then Gerrard a penalty in 105th min.

It'd be an awful game with a lot of shots all off target!!

We had 47 <yikes> shots tonight, 1 goal. Carlisle had 4 shots and 1 goal. Wait for Brendan to spin that statement ffs.

This team is ****e and enough to get Rodgers fired but its a way away from Roy levels.

We would have lost to Norwich and Carlisle tonight to be considered on a par.

    Brendan.

It would have been 0-0. Brendans team would have left everything out there but Roy would tell us that that is the kind of result we should be expecting now...

Stevie was not in his prime then.

He never really been the same after Rafa left and he pictured up a few injuries.
