Matt Harrold to Bristol Rovers. Buckle pleased with the fee :emoticon-0112-wonde

The primary source of the Harrold to Gas rumour is saying we've signed Danny Kedwell from Wimbledon. Another big man apparently but a lot more goals than Harrold.

Good luck Matty - sorry to see you go but I guess someone had to if we were to change things. <ok>

Works very hard for the team but will never score many (See Wycombe fans comments over the course of last season). In a way, sorry to see him go but we need a more regular goal scorer. Healthy profit after one year, though.

Bloody hell, that's out of the blue. We must have someone big coming in.

Rocky what do you think of this quote:
"He is strong, and solid target man but he is also good with the ball into his feet - he is a class act."

Buckle added: "He is capable of playing at League One level and these are the type of players I am trying to bring into the club."

ok lets face it now....he was bloody rubbish, he couldn't hit a barn door, he leans back and Sky's them over the bar far to often , if he just kept a couple of them lower we would have gone up this season...but yes he will score against us....i can see it coming

Buckle seems to rate him really highly. I always thought he gave his all when he put a town shirt on but he needed to pushing towards 15 goals a season ideally. I'm hopeful we'll have someone announced very soon as I can't see us letting Harold go without having a replacement on the verge of signing. All in all I'm not bothered he's gone too much.

He was NOT bloody rubbish. The bloke contributed as much as anybody else last year. Limited in his style of play, maybe. But we knew that before he came. He's a typical target man. But a decent forward at this level. To call him bloody rubbish is a bit of an insult IMO.

Well said Jenny. Had a fantastic start and we were all wowed by his deft flick ons for Robinson to collect and fire at goal. Where did it go wrong?

Where did it all go wrong? Robinson became useless which was no reflection on Harrold.Neither Collins nor Bradshaw have developed the positional sense to feed off a player like him.

Good luck Prince Harry and arise our saviour, Saint Nathan.
