It's been so long since I bet on the horses (about 15 years) that I don't know how to put a line on any more.

Do you still have to pay tax on your winnings (if you don't pay it on your stake beforehand)?

If you were picking 3 horses in one race you could do a combination tricast, which would be the three horses to finish 1st,2nd,3rd in any order.

A reverse forecast is 2 horses to finish 1st or 2nd in either order, and I imagine you could do a treble bet on 2 horses to finish 1st or 2nd in three different races (with 6 horses altogether from 3 races) but I'm not sure any online betting slip would support that combination of bets, but then again I don't think I've ever tried it.

So, I might be able to do it then and if it comes up it will be a tidy wee profit?(admittedly a very very long shot!)

Just checked my own company's website and we allow reverse forecast doubles, but not trebles or upwards strangely enough.

It is very difficult to get a single forecast up never mind doing cross multiples. I could probably count on one hand the amount of forecasts I've got up in my life, in saying that I am not one to back a load of favourites, like Eddie <whistle>

Haha, I just spoke to my mate back in my home town who used to own a bookies before they got bought out by Scotbet and he thought I was mental even thinking about it too, I'd be aswell putting on a yankee type thing so I would get my single, 3 doubles and a treble or whatever. So, to cut a long story short, it was a stupid idea!

I used to do 50p reverse tricasts on the dogs in Sean Grahams when I was about 13.

I back what I fancy, wether its 33/1 or 4/6, if I think its a good bet, im on.

Colour Squadron flung the race away, hung right across the track and got beat a neck by the biggest drifter of the day, that was my main bet but battered into Oasis Dancer and got out of jail.
