http://www.eplindex.com/29962/epls-underrated-midfields-tactical-stats-comparison-europes-elite.html The author starts by comparing in detail what he considers to be the two most underrated midfields in the Premier League - Southampton's and West Brom's. Then he compares Saints' performances to those of the best pressing clubs in Europe, and West Brom's to the best countering teams in Europe. He focuses mainly on the Schneiderlin-Cork pairing, and the Yacob-Mulumbu pairing, and comes to some very interesting conclusions.
I found this and posted it on reddit, to prove an argument that Schneiderlin was better than Mikel! Fantastic analysis and really shows you how integral both Schneiderlin and Cork are.
Yeah it's great analysis. That's why I posted it two days ago... http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...how-good-the-Cork-Schneiderlin-partnership-is
Good article, but I think the answer to the question posed in paragraph was pretty obvious without needing to read on.
So true. I once tried to post up the team line-ups quicker than him before a game....no amount of rapid F5ing of twitter and deft copying and pasting would defeat him...I won't be trying again.
He's not faster...just has a time machine to go back and post. Don't know why none of you have realised this.
