Ok, we haven't had a good old poll for a while. Who do you think has been the best purchase for the club out of the players currently playing for us? If your pick is not on the list then name him in a post.
Ooof this is a tricky one. Stu for me, taking into account cost as well as the fact that we don't win without him.
This is a strange thread as most players are bought. Only Ward Prowse was the player not bought that played yesterday. Enough of that, Salisu scrapes it for by a smidge.
No need to name him he's on the list.... I hope you've given some stick to your blue Scouser mates today...
I picked Sally Sue. Pertly because we will sell him on for a huge profit, which is part of our strategy. if you’re talking about value for money then Romeu and KWP are probably the best.
Stuey for me. He'd get my vote for his luscious hair alone, but he's a not half bad makes-a-difference footballer as well.
Top contenders Romeu, Salisu, KWP & Armstrong for me & probably in that order at moment. Not much between Salisu & KWP but I expect Sally to advance more & could be #1 very soon.
I will write before I read the thread. Quite simply Stuey. No one else can do what he does when he is on form. He just glides past players opening up space and creating room for others to play in. Yes Kyle and Oriel are both fab buys, but we can play Tino or Diallo in their place without a huge drop off to the team. Take Stuey out and a creativityngoes down exponentially .
For where we are at right now and current team impact it’s Stuart Armstrong. For most important going forwards in terms of where Saints are heading it’s Tino Livramenro . His is the signing that will hopefully shape future transfer windows for us
I have gone Shane Long. 8 years service so far. 2 assists for Mané for that fastest hat trick (As well as 2 goals himself that game). 7.69 seconds. Anfield. Never moans, seems a genuine guy. Tries, and tries and tries. Get's fouled all the time. Sometimes is more likely to miss than score, but still has scored some important goals.
