With the year drawing to a close... I thought it would be good to find out what your highlights were... Not just Saints/Football related, it's possible to put others. They can be accompanied by pictures where possible!! I think 2012 has been a pretty awesome year all-in-all. DTLW
Well I think it's obvious the best moment is the 4-0 win over Coventry and the subsequent celebrations.
My top 3: 1. 4-0 win over Coventry sealing our return to the PL. 2. Millwall away. Those last 10 minutes were the best minutes that I can remember as a Saints fan just for the fact that every Saints fan in the ground went mental when Rickie converted the 2nd penalty. 3. QPR away. Great performance and a massive result. I also witnessed one of the best performances from a Saints player in a hell of a long time.
Ok, my top 3 non Saints moments: 1. Has to be the Olympic games. Will remember the games for ever. 2. The amazing skydive from Felix Baumgarner or whatever his name is. That was the most incredible thing I have seen. 3. Hampshire winning both One Day formats of cricket. T20 finals day was fantastic.

Was also at all three of these games and agree they were all special moments - also the first 80 minutes v Man Utd was pretty special when Saints were passing them to death. Non-Saints :- Olympics - all of it. At Lords when Hampshire won CB40 Final + T20 Finals Day. On holiday in Portugal with my wife & kids.
Did anyone see Tevez showing Balotelli how to wrap Xmas parcels (Spanish with subtitles) on Sky? Balotelli said he could not cut the paper from the roll because he was left-handed. Tevez said, 'Turn the roll round then. No wonder people say you are daft.'
I took missus and our two kids to Portugal this year. First foreign holiday they had ever been on, so it was pretty special. Day 1 lounging by the pool I was watching Saints vs Cov scores come in on my phone... The sun was out, the booze was free, and Saints were a PL team again! It's a very happy memory.
I'm sure it wont be a popular one on this board but Pompey's injury time equaliser at St Mary's was a rare bright spot in what has been another Annus horribilis for Pompey. The Queen's "parachute entrance" into the Olympic stadium
