I thought that last night every stoke player on the pitch was absolutely ****ing fantastic, how we played was superb and I cant tell you how much I enjoyed watching it. I thought that Kenwyn Jones and Walters were outstanding but for me the man that stood out again was N'Zonzi. When he gets the ball he composes himself and always finds a team member. I think that lad has a massive future at stoke. still buzzing about the result and it just goes to show if you put 2 wingers on you will create more chances. One very proud potter!!! Totally agree Ric and I too applaud Pulis for going with the 2 wide men that was a bold move and one for the crowd. I think after last seasons boring 0-0 draw with Villa I think he felt he owed it to us to give us an entertaining game when we have all given up our families and Christmas parties to make the journey to the ground. Fair play it worked and we were amazing.
To be honest that performance has scared the living daylight out of me. Hope you take it easy on Saturday.
Totally agree with this, amazing atmosphere and 2 wide men. At times we just took the ball off of Liverpool and if only the final ball had been better, a little more luck we could have had a bagfull of goals. That said, to win like that and the way we played and Sky showed it. I'm one very, very proud Stokie today. WE ALL ARE. Even Walters played his best game for us IMHO. Had Suarez/Gerrard scored that volley. The press would be drolling over it. Absolute class goal, a classy performance and we are 8th and let's keep it going this Saturday. Re N'Zonzi that lad is at present as good as any midfielder in the Premier Leage, fantastic player and he will only get better.
