I remember my last outing to Crewe the fish and chip shop across the road from the ground had just been voted the best in the country. The que went a long long way down the road,have to say that was the best fish and chips i have ever sampled. The only other chippy to come close is in reading the blue fryer opposite the hotel with the pub on the side that all ways gets packed by city fans. The best around this area well outside Bristol has to be at shepton mallett they do a really good fish and chips,they also opened one in WSM a few years ago.
