Growing up with Australian rules Football, we don't have a reserves bench , we have an interchange bench. Would anyone like to see the FA make the bench an Interchange bench so as players tired they could come off and have a rest, get a slight injury seen to,or maybe just for the manager to adopt another plan of attack that didn't involve certain players. It would no doubt speed up the game a bit and clubs would not lose players to serious injuries due to having to play under duress. Thoughts?
Why? More subs being named only benefits clubs with a lot of depth, and our squad at the moment is 2 dimensional. As far as rotating subs goes, no way, can you imagine the negative teams in this league having the ability to reverse subs? Watford were difficult enough to break down after they scored without them being able to sub their one attacking player for another defender to help shut us out.
The bench at the KC is very comfy and i would sure like to be on it. Not sure about the Burnley one though, looks pretty hard
