West Ham play Stoke later on this evening.

Should be a very free flowing, open game, with stunning quick passing :D

I can't imagine a less "hoof ball" game that will occur this season...apart from Stoke vs Everton of course <whistle> Now that will be an event to savour <laugh>

I'm going for Stoke, purely because of West Ham being ahead of us in the table.. Well aslong as they only win 1-0

  6. Everton v West Ham would be worse. Stoke are about five or six places from the most long balls...<ok>

  7. Not bothered about them being ahead, they won't be at the end of the season <ok>

"The statistics, however, showed that Everton enjoyed greater possession, made more passes and completed proportionally fewer long passes than Liverpool."

    ;)

The game tonight will be nothing more than a disgrace to football.

I've 3 donkeys from west ham in my FF team this week so i think west ham for me.

Stoke have gone down in my estimation as our boy pulis has kept whinging about all sorts of stuff, but mostly its their lack of ambition to take the next step form safety to being a real side. they've spent the cash but pulis holds them back.

I hate allardyce though.. west ham fans must be really so annyoed that their side was sold to iceland, destroyed and rebuilt in the image of bolton... tragedy for england as half of the england team used to come out of the west ham youth set up too.

I'm not doubting Everton are long ball. We found that out the first game of the season. I didn't used to mind Everton (enemy of my enemy etc) but have come to hate them this season with their tactics. If Fellaini get's crocked they're completely ****ed. It's not just the goals that dry up, it's the whole way they play. Ugly bastards.

Actually hoping Carroll can start to find the net for West Ham, not because I want him back here, just so West Ham don't back out of the deal <laugh>

  14. I wouldn't say I hate them, fair play to them for finding a way that suits them. If you have a player like Felliani then you may as well use him. We did it with Crouch and Carroll. In fact, we did it with Michael Owen under Houllier - all out defense with a long direct ball considered to be counter-attacking <ok>

Edit: Ironically, all three players that I mentioned for us are involved (possibly) in tonight's game <laugh>

I have a West Ham defender in my fantasy team so a clean sheet for West Ham would be nice.

Maybe a few goals for Andy? Would be nice to see him get on the scoresheet.

And that clean sheet I wanted for West Ham has gone...

1-0 to Stoke. Walters with the goal.
