I'm just curious about what the weather is like wherever you are right now. In Reading where I am we are having very light showers of snow right now. One of our drivers at work has just called in saying there is a blizzard in south London right now. Stay safe everyone please log in to view this image
In rural Bucks, we had a flurry of snow at 11.30. Now it is gorgeous...sunny bright, no wind...but obviously cold about 0 to 1oC . Basically it is lovely
I'm guessing if south London is getting a heavy downpour right now then we in Berkshire should see some in a couple of hours.
Hasn't reached us yet and hopefully won't, but it is a tad chilly. Thursday & Friday look the worst days for us as heavy rain pushing up from the Bay of Biscay will hit the cold air and give us some heavy snowfall. Well when I say heavy 1 or 2 centimetres which will be enough to close schools, cripple the railways and cause general mayhem on the roads........
In Reading town centre (like you). Hoping weather will behave itself as have to drive back to Southampton tonight.
It's baltic up here, just a couple of snow flurries though. Big snow forecast for later in the week, and there's still quite a bit up on the mountains.
Yes, looking out the window it's a fine but very cold sunny day here. I just posted this thread due to the over hyping on the news websites tbh, also a very quiet day in the office.
In New Malden we got let out of class early ‘cos the bad weather is on the way.......I ain’t complaining
I'm in South London and not a drop at present. There were a few light flurries this morning but it's just grey and cold. The only snowflakes are at the local university...
Poland is in a cold spell with a Siberian front. We has snow on Friday night and then it went sub-zero. Warsaw is relatively warm at -10C this morning and currently (17:00 CET) it is -6C. However it will drop to -14C during the night. The good news is that during the day it is sunny with no almost no wind. However should there be a breeze, then the wind chill factor is quite large. The cold period should last only to the weekend, however it may reach temperatures >-20C.
unusually cold for this time of year and windy Today 27 Feb Few showers 19°C High 14°C Overnight please log in to view this image
Not overly warn here but no snow and the lawnful of it I had is now reduced to just a small mound where I shoveled it earlier this month. Warm temperatures last week combined with rain has led to flooding but generally it is pretty nice. We have 11 and 13 Tues and Wed at least in in the forecast - looks like we have your weather and you have ours. And you are welcome to it
21 degrees, sunny but humid here in West Bay, Doha My lad in Sheffield tells me it's perishing and started to snow Stay safe out there and take care on the roads
Tell me about it! Glacier trip cancelled due to Cyclone Gita, can't get to Picton to see friend not seen for years due to road closure. Currently in Hanmer Springs (thermal pools) and hoping unusually inclement weather does not curtail whale watching and swim with dolphins. Not complaining though!
