again no match thread .. and wanted to talk about the game so created this one please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image teams news : CITY: out : A Kolarov, Richards, Rodwell - doubt: Milner, clichy - very minor doubt: Silva (seem he will be fit ) UTD: out: Anderson, Valencia, Nani, Shinji Kagawa , doubt : cleverly, vidic fkn unlucky all in mid area ... GRRRRRRRRR possible formation according to the guardian please log in to view this image not really a big fan of that proposed UTD formation i will go with ...............................Gea................................. Smalling.......Rio................Evans.......Evra...... ...............Carrick ..............Jones.................... Rafeal ..................Rooney...............Young..... ...............................RVP.................................... I don't think fletcher will give us any attacking threat back at RM and his form is not the best at the moment .. Sir Alex tried Rooney at right side in mid week, will be a waste of his talent I think Rafeal will fit better .. i remember Sir Alex playing him once as RM and he did well I feel we need jones to play too in mid and mark Yaya .. we can't afford letting Yaya run the show again .. i feel we will need smalling & jones to play as City have big advantage on high balls in set pieces or if Dzeko did played what do you think guys? this formation is really a fkn headache ? feel sorry for Sir Alex, any other alternatives ?
mind games had already started "If we got that number of penalty kicks there'd be an inquiry in the House of Commons," the United boss said. "There'd be a protest." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20639747 hhh well done Sir to highlight that ... 21 penalties at home in 2 years .. that is a fkn joke tbh Mancini is saying as usual , UTD is favored to win PL to relax his side and put pressure on UTD
indeed .. tbh due to injuries our team is not the best that I hoped for to face City .. hope to get something but we will be the underdogs here definitely.. Man .. Valenica will be a big miss
Saw the Fergie quotes earlier, he's just doing a bit of groundwork before Sunday..no pressure eh refs I think that Guardian team will probably be about right. Our injuries have decimated whatever genuine quality and creativity in midfield we have. Kagawa, Valencia, Anderson, Nani and Cleverely. That's a whole midfield! And a lot of energy. Our midfield has a pace and a purpose to it when Ando is in the middle. We miss Valencia's direct running. And we miss the subtlety of Kagawa's game. The guy is a gem. Defence are going to have to be absolute colossal's if we're to get anything out of the game in my opinion, because our midfield doesn't have the ability to retain possession with what we have left of a fit midfield. Smalling has to start at RB. As much as I love Rafael, we're going to need to be big and strong at the back. We looked so much better at reading when the switch was made. I remember a game at Old Trafford a couple of seasons ago against them when Smalling was the best defender on show. Dominated everything in the air and positionally he was everywhere. So I have some faith Whoever's on the wings will have to do a tonne of work, especially on the left having to keep an eye on Kolarov and Nasri. Evra could be torn a new one. Obviously heart says United, but head says City. Can see them doing us by a couple of goals. 3-1. Hope I'm wrong.
Didn't look very hard Can't see Utd playing negatively like last year, this Utd team would lose playing for a draw, and we've been starting games really slowly so that's a real worry for me.Clichy and silva will be fit so I suspect the city team will line up Hart Zabaleta Kompany Nastasic Clichy Yaya Barry Nasri Tevez Silva Aguero I expect Rooney will drop into midfield at the top of a diamond to counter being overrun in midfield but how Nastasic and Kompany deal with van Persie will probably be the key to whether we join Utd at the top on Sunday or Utd become big favourites to go on and win the league Neither set of supporters are likely to be upset if it ends in a draw which is how I think it will finish
It's going to be a strange one. Never like losing to city, but they are champions and you would expect any CL side to be favourites at home. Extending or maintaining our lead would be great, but even a loss wouldn't be the end of the world at this stage. We're in a pretty strong position, much stronger than we usually are.
agree he is a better defender .. meanwhile .. you swapped both players with plus money been paid.. so sure he must be better .. he has to be better
can't wait looking forward to it hopefully its a great game, in fact as long as we get the 3 points i don't care
In his 26yr reign Utd have only conceded once to a city penalty, and that was at OT keith curle A non issue
Why only focus on home penalties? Man Utd have the most away penalties this season (1/3 of all away penalties this season went to Man Utd). Man Utd got more penalties at Stamford Bridge than all of Man City's away penalties in the last three seasons.
