Ok been relaxing with music and got round to thinking about what group/artist that I never got round to seeing, and never will. I’ve been fortunate enough to see a hell of a lot of groups however gutted I missed out on this lot. Just wondering what everyone else’s choice would be.
<<<<<<<<<<< Invented Alternative Rock and influenced Pixies and Nirvana. Seen Bob Mould solo a few times though and he never disappoints.
Good call with Nirvana. Tried to explain to my lad the other day how important Nevermind is but he’s not quite there yet.
Was off to see them... however Kurt blew his brains out!! For me the greatest male vocalist, his voice was perfectly imperfect. Honerable mentions to Michael Stype and Ben Ottewell (Gomez) who make up my top three male vocalists, females I’ll save for another time. I play my music in the car however my spawn decide to hate it... because I like it
Loved cypress hill. Was the sound of most Friday nights. My mate who introduced me to hip hop killed himself on my 35th birthday.
Never got to see the Pistols. Mind you, nor did anybody really because they hardly gigged at all in the UK. And they were **** live anyway, by all accounts. Still. Never saw Chuck Berry, now that's a regret.
Nirvana for me. Off the top of my head, I think I’ve seen everyone that I have been alive for and wanted to see. Although I was only 6 when Nirvana ceased to exist.
Would have loved to see Journey . Bought tickets to see them in Bournemouth a few years ago , but Steve Perry had left . Zero point seeing them without THAT voice . I have seen the Blue Oyster Cult a few times in recent years , do wish I had seen them with the original line up though .
