    The Ballon d'Or for the world's best players will not be awarded in 2020 because of a "lack of sufficient fair conditions" created by the coronavirus pandemic.

    The prize has been awarded by France Football every year since 1956.

    France Football said awarding a prize in a "crippled" year would "not be worthy" of their history.

    Hope they’re still doing managers of the year, McCann must be a big favourite to win 24th in the Championship!

    To be fair, Messi was only going to win it again anyway. Though Lewandowski had a really good shout.

    Also, there's definitely been enough football played to make a decision - this is purely because the French teams haven't been playing. I guarantee it.

    No chance. There’s been loads sacked off Woodgate, Jones, Gomes, Bruce et al, who have a more deserving shout than McCann.
