The Attendance Game

Most of you are, I'm sure, aware of a number of prediction games currently in operation; some for individual boards and some open to all, such as penshawedave's on the Leeds Board.

So here's a new one, which I'll base here, but is open to any-one who wishes to participate. Like any-thing of this nature, it can only go ahead if there is any interest, so its continuation will, of course, depend on whether or not people want to take part - If it falls flat like a pancake, then so be it.

The Attendance Game


Each week I will list five fixtures, from various divisions and all you need to do is predict the TOTAL attendance of the five fixtures.
Each person will start with 100,000 points and will lose a point for every number they are out by.

For example, if, on the first week, you state a figure of 71,100 and the actual total is 65,150 you will lose 5,950 points, taking you down to 94,050.

The penalty for failing to enter a figure on any given week will be to lose double the points lost by the worst poster that week.

If your score falls below 0 you are eliminated.
