Bristol Rugby dug out a great result today with a last minute try and conversion, even though for most of the match they had a horrible off day.
Who or what is creating this spirit at the Gate?

The current manager, SC and Head Coach Andy Robinson?
Or the ghosts of Wedlock, Atyeo, Gregory, Challis?

However it is happening, it is making the lives of Bris and City supporters a whole lot better.

I can't speak for the rugby, but there is an incredible team spirit within the City camp. They genuinely seem to enjoy each others company.

Jeff Stelling said on Soccer Saturday that our boys prepared for the Scunthorpe game by playing Monopoly in the hotel.

Nice to see a squad that isn't torn apart by dressing room prima donnas who had little, or no, commitment to our club. You build, or in our case rebuild, your team based on the ability and desire of the individuals to buy in to the team concept, and if they don't then send them on their way before they pollute the whole scenario.

Something special is going on down in BS3 and long may it continue.

Yes it is Mike. You and I go back a long way and I certainly have not felt so good about City since the 1975-76 promotion season.
As a lifelong Bristol Rugby also, I cannot believe how similar the two squads are in commitment to the cause.
I am confident of a double promotion in May.

Amen to that and we appear to have a motivated, media friendly manager who tells it as it is and gets the best out of the squad, and long may it all continue.

That's dangerous how many arguments are caused by that game
