    ARTETA- RAMSEY
So, its curtains fall on a dramatic season this Sunday and am already dreading 3 months of no competitive football. It’s going to be torture!!
This season has been a long marathon and I think we’ve done superbly for some months now, even though the media have failed to notice our wonderful run and the mean streak we so lacked for many seasons and get slated for. It’s a solid foundation wenger can build upon for the coming season.

I think the possible failure of not playing in the champions league has motivated the team to do so well, and we can see that in every department especially the defense and midfield. We have tightened up at the back, no cheap or silly goals conceded; corners defended well and the two CMs also do their job on protecting the back four so well. (Why can’t we play like this all season or at least when it matters hmm?)

I have read a few comments and even convinced by colleagues that Ramsey can never get back to his best, and that arteta is too old to play a DM role. I think its utter garbage. People only need to watch our last few games and realise how fantastic they have been. The understanding between them is impeccable and am now slightly worried that wilshere might have to remain as a sub if they keep playing well. Ramsey’s work ethic has been second to none, his passing is improving and most especially, he’s getting into the box a lot more, which gives us more opportunity to score. I have been really impressed by him and can’t even remember if he ever broke a leg. Arteta on the other hand has been Mr. dependable, an assured and established midfielder for arsenal and wouldn’t fault his performance – I only wish he was younger.

Summer is fast approaching and I love wenger’s early move in transfer market. It’s very sensible and smart knowing that once Mourinho and Man city’s possible target, pellegrini land in the premier league, all prices will be hiked beyond the ceiling. If wenger does buy a DM which I believe will be an established one, I hope it’s going to add depth to the squad rather than break a working partnership. All in all, it’s looking good for us and I hope we get 4th because, let’s be honest, we need more than any other team out there plus we might even win a trophy next season. I can smell it!.. COYG!!
