I think he means that Chimbonda is the reason why our defence is leaky. He has that effect on any team he goes anywhere near.
The answer is stop playing crap loan players that are no better then what we already have Berner > van Aanholt Hobbs> Bruma
I personally think that PVA is better than Berner. Although I think Van Aanholt is **** I think Berner is way too off the pace which is a massive shame because he is a legend.
Get Hobbs back (stupid load deal imo) & get Naughton in on a perm, that would be a start Mr SGE & when you think JH is already our player, itôs also a cheap solution. Naughton has been fantastic most of his time at LC & heôs prem quality. Now I donôt want to sound off to load BUT, if we can get the right players in in the summer then we could easily do a QPR next season. I know talk is cheap but for me our bad start to the season & the merry-go-round in the DEF has cost us a play off spot if not promotion. Far be it from me to tell SGE what to do but our DEF isônt working as a unit, yeah ok maybe it has sometimes but sometimes is not good enough in a 46 game season. To many loan players hasônt help either, not that I blame SGE for that what else could he of done ? so when we get a solid DEF that will be playing together week in week out we will be back to being hard to score against again & that means hard to beat. I have total faith in SGE & Iôm sure weôll have a dam good team ready for the new season, weôve already signed some of our top players for longer & I for 1 canôt wait for the summer, donôt forget it took QPR 2 or 3 seasons to get it right & they didônt spend a season in DIV 1. Tunchev, I forgot about him. Iôd love to see him in a City shirt again, given a few games to get into it & heôll be like signing a new prem quality player. So there you go we already have AT & JH in DEF it shoud be a cheap summer transfer window
In the summer we should sign Ben Mee, Greg Cunningham, Kyle Naughton. All 3 young quality players who we know about. Man City might not sell Cunningham but they will probaly loan him out. Naughton has said he would come back and Mee i think Man City would let go. If it is possible to either loan or sign Miguel Vitor again that would be our defence sorted. Sven just needs to have a little more faith in some players and less in others. We have used 15 players in defence this season and 5 goalkeepers. Thats why our defence is so bad. Last season it was the same back 5 nearly every game and we was solid.
Bamba was brilliant at first but last few games he keeps switching off and costing us. I think you need someone up his arse ready to nick his place in the team to get the best out of Bamba. Once he feels comfortable he will start to make mistakes
Yeah it can be good to have someone else there , Maybe on a loan to threaten him and then he may change again, I have seen that done at Norwich with My favorite ex Gillingham player Jackson as he was not on form at all they brought in Pacheco and Vokes and now he has 5 goals in 5 Games. Also at Gillingham they done that with Gowling sent him out on loan, brought him back and he changed to a great player.
