So, I've got some information from someone inside the club and it seems the Allam's aren't being as well received as some may have thought. They've been trying to slash wages throughout the club from the players, staff and minor staff such as the club Secretaries. This has lead to a bad atmosphere building up inside the club and many of the players becoming annoyed. However, the Allam's still are going to keep up the same level of financial backing we've seen so far and keep working with Adam Pearson who is said to be happy with the new regime. That's all for now.
If the players are annoyed they aren't showing it. Most of the squad are new anyway so I don't see how he could slash wages on contracts they have just been given. Chances are that Duffen was overpaying the staff anyway. In the Allams I trust.
If they feel money is being wasted on wages throughout the club then surely it is a good thing they are addressing the issue
I think it's good how they're cutting costs, however I'm just concerned about how much it's effecting the players as from what I've heard they're certainly not happy with all this.

I can see the players they've tried to get to lower there wages being the likes of Mcshane and other players that we had during the time in the premiership, awful players sitting in reserves on deals that could fund 2 or 3 new players.
He's not going to be slashing the players wages who have just come in as they will be already on a sensible wage so it won't leave many to upset
If they're slashing the wages of nine to five staff ahead of those of the overpaid players, that's pretty shameful.
As they don't have the ability to force the players to take a pay cut I doubt it's "ahead" of them even if they are cutting the wages of 9-5 staff. I'd be telling the office staff that I wouldn't need to cut their wages if the players agreed to take a cut but they decided to refuse to though.
They are very successful businessmen and, as I have said before, are no-body's fools. Their financial advisers will have looked into the financial infrastructure of the club and will be suggesting anything that is more viable. I have no doubt as to where they wish to take the Club but I also have no doubt that they do not have the financial facilities to take the Club any further than bottom third of the EPL. Mr Allam has made no bones about this himself. They obviously run a tight ship and we should not expect too much nor should any of us wish to return to the Duffen/Bartlett era.
And how reliable is your source? Does he have a grievance against the Allam's? It sure looks like it. I'm sorry but the Allam's are doing what they must to reduce the costs that we were lumbered with. It happen in every takeover in commerce that takes place, new owners try and cuts the costs to a level they are happy with. That's the way of the world. If its affecting 9-5 staff then how do we know Duffen wasn't over-paying them as well?! Its called streamlining...
I actually heard something similar the other day. Was also told that a lot of the back room staff look to be going. The people who are going or face a wage reduction only have themselves to blame from the sounds of it. If you start taking the piss out of the club then you're bound to be found out sooner or later.
I don't want to say who it is but it's somebody extremely reliable and they definitely won't have any grievance against the Allam's.
well the office staff n numerous others all got a bump when we got promoted, a return to more sensible levels isnt a bad thing;]
