Absolutely incredible. Hats off that was the best test innings I’ve ever seen.

Doesn’t hide the fact that we were bowled out for 67 and few of our batsmen still aren’t good enough but still.

Awful umpiring decision at the end. The luck is certainly with England this year ...

Dropped catches, botched run outs and yes, that umpires call - we were extremely lucky that innings. That innings had everything....Amazing to watch.

It keeps the fight for the Ashes alive anyway so the excitement lasts at least one more test

Aus wasted their last review on something that clearly wasn't lbw, so the fact they couldn't review the one that was an over later is their own fault.
They threw away the review away cause they thought they would easy take the last wicket with the runs inhand, instead of using it when it really mattered.

Or awful captaincy to waste the last review a couple of overs earlier?

seriously brilliant afternoon that .I defy anything (safe & legal <laugh> ) but sport to be as gripping as that .
PS I so nearly wet myself laughing when the convicts realised that the ridiculous wasted review was going to cost them the match

    Same on our board .

You forgot to mention Paine was dropped on 9 .

Smith dropped on 60 odd , and caught behind ..to a no bowl from our spinner ……...

I " Liked " your post because you posted . Not what you posted …..
