Starting to really serve a big purpose in the club these days. Hendo + Waggy sold for 22.25 mil combined.

Colback. Laing. Adam Reed. Jordan Cook. Ryan Noble. All had prem experience now (fair enough due to our annual injury crisis last year), the likes of Colback hardly put a foot wrong in about 8 games there, looked really good and is certain to play a significant number of games next season. Some of the others will benefit hugely from loans if they can't get an in here.

Makes me happy. Will definitely make Sir Niall and Ellis happy. Really good work being done by Bally and Ged Mcnamee there.

    I concur 100% young man.

I dont recall a time when so many have been found and nurtured and its quite plain to see that the discipline that Bally had as a player and a man is reflected in the genuinely good manners of all those players. They are being brought up the 'right way' and respect the club, the other players and the fans.

I'd be very proud if my child was taken on by Ged McNamee and Kevin Ball and would feel they are in excellent hands.

I think the club should recognise the work done by the 2 men during a half time presentation at one of our home games next season.

By all accounts Jordan cook had a great game, and has already gone out on loan once. He can play on both wings and as a striker.

Best thing is that none of these lads need to be named in our 25 man squad, so can play at any time.

    Aye definitely.

Anar we've got the issue of bringing the wage bill down and one day hopefully making an operating profit, but the long term vision for the club is a really positive one. Not to mention the present day outlook.

The Academy is the future and it's working well <ok>

The mags' academy (or perhaps "borstal" might be more accurate?) had better be cutting the mustard with the rate they're getting shot of first teamers... :)
