    Fulhams academy team brilliantly trained, and marshaled by Kit Symonds
    this afternoon beat Leicester City to reach the premier league cup final against Blackburn.
    Their was a fair crowd including those who came from Leicester,and of course the scouts,
    who I was told came from 11 different clubs,and they certainly were not disapointed,
    by the pace, the game was played at,end to end.
    Leicester scoring first Woodrow equalising,and the shrewd capture from Southampton of
    Williams getting the winner with 5 or so minutes to go.
    No criticisms with individual performances,but a mention to Minkewitz captained the team well.
    Altman, with his superb free kicks,Passley who won nearly all his tackles,Woodrow and Williams.
    And M N Bangra who frightened the opponents defence with his amazing runs,one going the full lengh of the pitch,
    "my." and what a shot he has.
    Well done Lads.

    Cheers rosc. Just got back from my trip Bandit way and reading this rounded off a very nice day.

    Sounds as though Mesca had another storming game. Pleased also to see Cauley Woodrow on the score sheet - I mentioned him before as being quite impressive.

    Well done lad and here's to winning the final which I believe is next Saturday.

    My mistake re Williams,but from wherever he came he certainly looks a good prospect.

    Announced today at the game that the final against Blackburn will be next Saturday ko 2pm at Craven Cottage. Well done the Club.

    Should be a Grand Day Out.

    I am not sure of this but I think you can purchase tickets at the gate.
    Cottager can you confirm,what ever,lets hope the lads get a good turnout.
    It will be good value,to watch some of our future first teamers.

    They are being sold at the gate, rosc - £3 for adults; £1 everybody else. Great value for what promises to be a sunny day By the River.

    Not to put a dampner on it, but Blackburn are a very strong side and the favourites. I'm sure Kit will have the side rairing to go though.
