It's not the money as such, it's the way it's been used. Imagine 4 divisions of wonderful grounds, top English coaches, successful academies, cheap ticket prices etc etc. All could and should have been possible. Instead of which we've got what we've got.
Totally right. It didn't matter what ****pot Lincoln were playing at (Brighton, Swansea, Manchester City, Fulham, Burnley were all at Lincoln's levels during the nineties) the atmosphere was awesome.7
I remember a long drive to Burnley on boxing day with 2 of my mates and their Dad. Freezing cold, great atmosphere, 3 hour drive back with a broken front side window because someone had broken into the car to nick the radio. We were still talking about the frenetic end to end kick and rush 2-2 draw rather than moaning about the cold as we took turns in the passenger seat to avoid freezing to death. Much better than sitting down watching a slow paced bunch of play actors in a league you have no affiliation with.
