  1. The draw is this Saturday the 24th of Sep on Gillette Soccer Saturday

The 4th round ties will be played on the 24th of October, so a month after the draw.

Who are we all hoping for?

I personally would take a harder team, if it meant a home tie. I ****ing hate away cup ties.

I'm hoping for a home tie, and hopefully we'll avoid either Man Utd, Chelsea or Stoke. Any other team, I'm not bothered as long as we play them at home.

Of course Aldershot at home would be smashing, but i'm not getting my hopes up. Any but the 3 times above, and I'll be happy, but i want a home tie this time.

Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool all likely to go through tonight. I would like to avoid a premier league team but if we do get one, then I hope its at home. I reckon we'll get Wolves at home.

  3. Also Man City to avoid. Forgot about them. Wouldn't mind too much if we faced Liverpool, Blackburn or who ever as long as it's at home.

None of the top 3 and not Stoke.

^^this. Seem to get them in the cc a lot. I would prefer Burnley or Palace at home, Aldershot would be too much of a banana skin knowing us!!!

  6. I wouldn't mind that tbh.

I reckon we could beat them.

They have a better attack, but we have a better defense, and we have enough to hold them off and score the amount of goals needed.

Burnley away 100% - I have insider knowledge into the placement of the balls in the draw.

I'm not too bothered about who it is, but I hope it's a home game. I'd prefer a lower league team for two reasons, the obvious one being they're less likely to beat us, and the second being that Pardew is more likely to rest key players. I don't care that much though, we managed to beat Chelsea last year and it's only the league cup.

I'll cry if we are away again. I was at work at 6:30am yesterday, finished at 1:30pm to get to the match and then the ****er went to extra time. Had staff training this morning so no extra sleepies for me. Knackered!

Someone like Burnley or Palace at home would be my choice. I am fed up with facing either Chelsea or Arsenal in cup competitions. Am I right in thinking that 16 teams will be in the 4th round?

Home to Crystal Palace, for me, would be perfect. We should beat them and I really want us to put effort into this cup! If we beat them and get a home tie in the Quarter Finals then I think we have a great chance of getting to a final. We can beat anyone over two legs on our day!

I could live with that, schedule my calendar again so I just 'happen' to be on London for meetings, super cheap away game. Best part, the boss pretty much insisted so he could go too...

I have a feeling you want a home tie.

Personally I want Crystal Palace away... I'm only a few miles away <whistle>
