England played very well when they had to. Great play for the Goals. Bellingham improving each game, certainly today. Not sure about our CB's against the French. Do we not have any quick CB's.? Walker was struggling for pace today, and the two in the middle will struggle more.
How do we know they were Chelsea supporters?
I think Henderson has made a big difference in midfield, we seem better balanced and his experience seems to have lifted those around him. Bellingham is benefitting from this and looks like he'll be our key man for the next decade. I hope Southgate doesn't try to be too cautious or negative as I think we have a better attacking threat than France and I'd hate us to give them the initiative, they're not unbeatable by any means...
Looks like Japan v Croatia going to extra time/penalties. Japan had multiple opportunities to put this game away.
They couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo in the shoot-out, hara-kiri time...
Already 2-0 down, not a great start for South Korea against Brazil but they almost pull one back with an excellent shot heading for the top corner that is tipped over.
And now it's 3-0, think it's safe to say that Brasil will be going through.......
This could get very ugly for South Korea, committing more and more players forward leaving huge swathes of the pitch for the front 3 or 4 of Brasil to just have a field day......
Their goal celebrations are extremely annoying.
Come on, if you are Spurs’ reserve number 9 and you get to score in a World Cup, you deserve to celebrate.
The horrible cynic in me hopes that South Korea start ‘competing’ with extreme prejudice.
Have to say it was a sublime ball from Vinicious Jnr to set up the goal.......
