We will get 15-20 for Clyne. Expecting 35m is insane. His contract situation lowers the price we can ask considerably, if it's a move he wants then he has all the power and I'd be furious if the club let him go for nothing in a year.
Agree totally with what you say. Suspect if Clyne does not sign with us in the next couple of weeks he will be sold to the highest bidder whoever that may be. Saints will make the correct business decision in the circumstances.

Couldn't find the let's laugh at Liverpool thread so this will have to do:

Hahahahaha they're more naïve than I thought. I'm sure Lacazette will turn down PSG, Reus will turn down Bayern and Real and Clyne will turn down United.
I sometimes think we should treat Liverpool fans like a dotty old aunt who just sits in the corner talking nonsense, whilst we all just smile and nod at appropriate times. It's not their fault they're completely delusional and living in the past, its merely a little sad.

Depends. It may be worth the gamble. What would Clyne do if we were entrenched in top two in January? Sign a new contract then maybe? If not, sell him for 5-10m then?

I know that we may not get Krychowiak and it might just be paper talk but he is so similar to Morgan. You wouldnt notice Morgan's absense on the pitch if we were to replace him with Krychowiak. So Krychowiak, Classie or Song...?

I can't imagine our bid was serious. 8.7 million is kind of joke. Maybe we are just trying to get Arsenal or Liverpool to bid like "Hey, check it out. He has a 24 million release clause. Cheaper than Schneiderlin!"
