With my own eyes what I've seen on match days, I'd say that we don't have a problem with our strike force, give them the ammunition and they will deliver, the problem I see is our midfield does not cover the defense properly. Not since Duff and Davies have we had wide men who are prepared to backup in their defensive roles and help out the full backs when they venture forward. The only one I can think of was Dejagah and Riether. Our midfield move the ball too slowly, trying to keep possession, while our opponents have tended to hit us on the break with quick attacks hence the shot taken v shots faced. I noted in the 3 Amigos video interview that Tony Khan was given a mention. He is the vice chairman of Jaguars and also runs the Technology analysis and player evaluation, and it would see he is doing the same for us. Although I see what analysis can bring to the club if it is a way of helping the coaching fair enough, but if say like Brentford they are taking it to choose who to buy without the input of a manager/head coach then it is worrying.
