Could Google it but cannae be arsed, what's the origins of the April Fools Day and its incredibly unfunny shenanigans? Never thought about it in the past but asking for a homosexual darkie maniacal knife murdering friend that I met on one of those new fangled ****ter websites. I'll be 35 later this month, I'm so excited and I just can't hide it........
If The Simpsons taught me anything its that April Fool was originally a Native American holy day and we mocked it into extinction And Americans are yellow
Is that right about it being a real American people's holy day or am I just being gullible? One of my favourite books however was Gullibles Travels.
It originated in the late Middle Ages, as a competition to identify and honour the stupidest **** in Britain. But the competition soon proved to strong, it quickly became apparent that our island is practically sinking under the weight of all the thick ****s living here (see Brexit for evidence), so now it’s just a case of hilarious japes which don’t even fool the most foolish among us.
Traditionally, on the first of April, morris dancers meet and elect a new leader. The leader in a morris dancing squad is known as The Fool and gets to wear the horse's head. Once The Fool has been elected, the morris dancers retire to the nearest traditional English pub where they quaff real ale, ring their bells and discuss the impending new cricket season.
