Was in Mandalay for the 11th which was the first posting my Dad had after joining the RAF. He was lost over the Med in 1942.Will always remember this one as about 40 miles away there was an earthquake measuring about 6.8 and quite a bit of damage in Mandalay and surrounding areas.It was our last day in Myanmar and thankfully we are back home in one piece!
