I therefore think we will sell players like Wilson. Longstaff and Lascelles potentially in January to some desperate PL club battling relegation.

 

If Howe is still here all 3 will be offered deals.

 

Also in January, the following will have 18 months left on their deals:

Gordon- New contract needed
Migggy
Pope- New contract likely but potentially as back up
Tripps
Targett
Hayden
Kuol

 

New contracts will probably be offered to the first four on that list, and possibly Krafth too.

 

And Lascelles

 

I wouldn't be hugely surprised, though there were rumours that Lascelles himself wouldn't want to, as he'd prefer to leave for first team football elsewhere.

 

Not sure we will have much money to spend in January, after a record breaking last 2 days of the Summer Window.

We won't be buying in Jan, "no value". Unless there's a new manager.

 

We can't afford the winter fuel bill.

 

They might do well to spend nothing until after June next year..that's the 1st two years off the spend.

The problem is the Premier League is making the rules even worse by making it a squad cost ratio... this way they can't even follow the forementioned idea.

People need to realise it's the rules they should be blaming not the club.
