What's people's thoughts on Scudamore being given £250k from each PL club as a leaving gift? Think it's disgusting personally. Just shows how far away from reality football is nowadays.
I think he's already been paid more than well enough for the job he's done and if they asked me for £250K I'd politely but firmly tell them to stick it up their arse.
Gross. An insult to football supporters who keep the game in existence. If the salary wasn’t good enough , he should have looked for employment elsewhere .
If it was a case of clubs donating 250k in order that a donation to charity could be made in Scudamore's name I would see it as a mice gesture. Just to give a bloke who earns 2.5 million a year a bit of extra cash, it lacks class, taste, and dignity in the extreme.

This is an absolute disgrace and and another reason why a radical overhaul is required. a 5 million pound golden handshake on top of the exorbitant salary and the 6 million pound bonus he received for negotiating the last deal with Sky. The clubs would be better thought of if they paid this money straight into the accounts of the British Legion or some other worthwhile charity. Greed for the sake of greed if this comes about. Disgusting idea.
