I predicted we would achieve 9 points from 7 games, we actually achieved 5 points, not good enough by me or the team..

Manager admits last-gasp sucker punch is a familiar tale.
Steve Cotterill admitted City’s inability to convert an utterly dominant display into three points against struggling Charlton Athletic has been a recurring theme this season.
The Addicks hardly threatened Frank Fielding in the City goal throughout the 90 minutes, but Cotterill’s men were unable to add to Nathan Baker’s first-half goal, including a missed penalty from Marlon Pack midway through the second period.
Sure enough, defender Harry Lennon popped up in added time to snatch a point for the Londoners and complete the sense of déjà vu inside Ashton Gate.
“It’s a game we’ve dominated, but we always needed that second goal and we spoke about that at half-time,” Cotterill told Bristol City Player HD.
“That’s probably the reason we are where we are. A lot has been made of that because we’ve dominated lots of games, so this isn’t anything new.
“Jonathan (Kodjia) has had quite a few chances today and he’s got to make sure he works the goalkeeper on those.
“We had one when Aaron (Wilbraham) hits a deflected shot and it looks like it’s going in but he (Kodjia) heads it over. We’ve had the penalty with Marlon, Elliott Bennett has had a couple of efforts, and Luke Freeman as well.
“They (Charlton) haven’t been a threat throughout the game. You could see how we were going to score a goal, whereas from them I couldn’t.
“It was just one big ball put in our box and under normal circumstances I’d expect us to deal with that, but from the moment Marlon’s hit the underside of the bar from the penalty, I’ve just detected a little bit of anxiety – everywhere in the ground, I imagine.
“It’s a really scrappy goal but they’ve ended up getting something out of the game that they didn’t deserve. We deserved to win that by a country mile.”

I detected the heads dropped with that penalty miss. I could sense they was going to snatch one.
I can't understand why players feel like they have to smash it when taking penalties, just look at the way JET took them slow and easy. Once you go for power you lose some control and increase the odds of missing the target.
Bennett or even Freeman would of been a better option for me, than Pack I just didn't believe in him taking it.

Such a predictable outcome and it was MK Dons all over again

We have a huge lack of quality all round, and this squad of players, if left unchanged, will take us down. I am sick and tired of the same old lame excuses and the players inability to put games to bed.

Wholesale changes are needed in virtually every position. Some of what we have are not worthy of the shirt.

Unfortunately we appear to be the only ones wanting to change the script angelic and the excuses will just get better from here. The current squad is not up to the task so make changes to the scenario for the better.
