That was a disgrace today, and a pattern we have seen every away game. As soon as I saw the line up I saw that was an attempt to get a draw. The second half was so bad. At half time He has told those players to shut up shop, sit deep and defend defend defend. For the paying fan, thats not good enough. As I didn't pay to watch one half of football today, I paid to watch a full game.

I genuinely don't mind losing 2-1 if we lose trying to win, what I find disgusting is losing 2-1 when there was no desire from the manager to win a game that was very win'able! Draws do us absolutely no good at this stage, certainly not against teams like Wolves, even more so when everyone else around us is picking up points.

If this is gonna be the same for every away game, wheres the incentive to go and cheer my team on If the manager doesn't want to win the game? Shiny you said "if we won 1-0, we would be calling SOD a tactical genious". I wouldn't I'd be saying that I hate football where teams stop playing and invite wave after wave of attacks. The first instance of this I can remember was England vs Argentina world cup 98 when we just played for penalties. It was like waiting to die that game, you knew death was coming so you sat and waited for. Much like today, you knew that goal was going to come eventually, and surprise surprise it did.

Unless you are Mourinho and have the worlds best defenders at your disposal, you CANNOT defend for that long and expect to keep the ball out of the back of the net. When will managers learn that? You certainly won't be able to do it with a defense that has leaked more goals than any other team in the entire football league, and until a few weeks ago haven't kept a clean sheet.

SOD, you lost a loyal traveling fan today who has been let down for the last time. Ask a Donny fan about SOD, and they will tell you, he is a star manager when he gets his teams to play football, but HE got them into trouble because for 23 games of the season he only expects a draw at best from his players.

SOD says he doesnt look at the table or how many points we have because he can't affect it. Well take a look SOD, because you handed 3 points to a team that we should have shown some desire to beat today, and if you genuinely believe "we can only do what we do to get a result" then mean it, and play the game to win. Because every away game you rely on the other teams at the bottom of the table to lose, and guess what, its not working, and it hasn't been working for months now. So change your attitude, because we are set for relegation now.

So disappointed, because those players have shown us all they are much much better than playing like scared rabbits.

Haha thats one trip I will never be willing to make, I love going away, LOVE it. But would never do Carlisle, especially midweek. After today, I refuse to go away again under SOD now, not even if he is with us next year in League 1.

I just dont understand the mentality when you are beating your rivals through a fluke goal, the home supporters are on the Wolves players backs, they lose 2 players to injury in the first half and then use their final substitution (their keeper) early in the second half, and we still didn't make any attempt to go for the knockout punch ??

That is a bewildering piece of decision making at best, but I'd rather call it a bloody disgrace given the magnitude of the game.

Yes we'd have been very happy had the score stayed at 0-1 to us, but I knew as soon as they equalised that we would lose the game unless we showed some desire to attack. The good home form of late has been undone by what I would describe as total naivety away from the Gate.

With all the other results bar Sheff Wed going against us, the task to avoid the drop is now that much harder. I also dont understand how teams like Watford and Brighton are suddenly putting in below par performances against our relegation rivals.

Whatever teams we play, whoever is in charge, whatever league we are in, next season is about forging a new side and starting over

I think we need a bit of a clearout and start investing in youth more instead of journeyman in and out of teams on par with our level.

Other than Cunningham, I'd have a whole new starting defense.

At half time I said to my wife, three of the bottom four teams are winning including City. I then said, But by the end of all the matches, the three that will win are Peterboro, Barnsley and Wolves who will beat us 2 - 1!

Am I psychic or just a bloody realist after 63 years supporting City? Always Believe that if Bristol City can **** up, they will.
